California based CAREX International opened its CAREX Turkey office on November 11, 2006. CAREX has also offices in Cebu, Philippines and Singapore.

CAREX is the first agency in Ankara that assist Turkish nurses to migrate to the United States as a nurse.

The office in Ankara is headed by a seasoned recruiter Ozlem Arzu Calguner who worked in San Francisco, California for 5 years in Medical Recruitment field.

She had assisted more than one dozen of Turkish nurses placement to a California health care facility where she was working as a Global Recruiter. Realizing that there is a huge demand from Turkish nurses to work in the United States she decided to move back to Turkey to open a Representative office of CAREX. CAREX and Calguner had worked previously together to migrate nurses to California from Singapore. CAREX Management welcomed the idea and Director of CAREX Elbe Ackman went to Ankara to assist with the preparations and training of the staff.

The CAREX office in Ankara is equipped with a hi-tech NCLEX Review Center. It is the first and only NCLEX Review Center in Turkey.

The Ankara office received a big welcome from public and there was a major media coverage . CAREX would like to thank Arzu Calguner and her brother Mr. Tahir Calguner for their hard work and support during the preperations.
