Business Intelligence Analyst

Our innovative partner is looking to hire multiple remote BI Analysts to join their team! You will focus on owning and defining business critical metrics and delivering actionable analysis and reporting content.

What You'll Do:

  • Automate manual data collection and manipulation traditionally done in Excel, enabling key stakeholders to focus on other areas of expertise
  • Create and analyze robust reports and recommend insights to key stakeholders
  • Own and maintain business data models in Power BI
  • Become the go-to person if our partners have any questions or issues with data or dashboards
  • Diagnose issues on the fly and provide guidance with metrics and visualizations
  • Run ad-hoc analyses to help drive projects and key business initiatives forward
  • Maintain documentation and provide cross-functional training
  • Document data definitions, key metrics and sample reports, ensuring alignment and consistency in reporting across the company
  • Collaborate with business process experts to understand how changes in process impact KPIs and metrics
  • Validate data with end users to ensure that data is clean and reflective of work
What You'll Bring: 

  •  
  • 3+ years of work experience in a similar business intelligence, data analytics role
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with an analytics platform
  • Comfortability collaborating with all stakeholders and interpreting data from Power BI
  • Experience with developing content in Power BI or other visualization tools
  • Experience with data warehouse design and implementation
  • Strong SQL skills and exposure to SSIS,SSRS and SSAS
