– 3rd shift from 11:00pm – 7:30am, Monday – Friday with rotating weekends
– 5+ years of Generalist and Core Lab experience needed (ideally with experience in Coagulation, Hematology, Chemistry and Urinalysis)
– ASCP Certification (MT MLT MLS) preferred but not required
– Compensation for this role is anticipated to be between $40 – $48 per hour dependent upon experience.
What You'll Do:
The Medical Lab Technologist V performs routine medical laboratory tests essential for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease and will include aspects such as:
- Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment.
- Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
- Analyze, gather and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives.
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
- May examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities.
- Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.
What You'll Bring:
- BS degree in the Sciences, or Clinical Lab or Medical Lab Science degree.
- At least 5+ years of experience required as a Generalist and within Core Lab, ideally with exposure to Coagulation, Hematology, Chemistry and Urinalysis).
- ASCP MLT, MLS or MT or similar certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Do:
The Clinical Laboratory Team is seeking an experienced Technologist to help improve patient health and deliver quality laboratory services.
The Technologist conducts qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses within a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory that includes:
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
- Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
- Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
- Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
What You'll Bring:
- AS or BS in Chemistry, Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a related degree, and able to meet CLIA and state requirements.
- At least 1+ year of Clinical Laboratory experience as a Generalist.
- Core Lab experience within Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis and Chemistry ideal.
- ASCP MT, MLT, CLS or AMT certification is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.
- Covid & Flu Vaccine required; Masks are required to be worn at all times while on hospital property.
