Carex’s partner is seeking a Data & Analytics Development Engineer. This is a fully-remote contract for at least 9 months.
What you’ll do:
Data & Analytics developers are people who works with ETL (extract data, transform it, and load it) tools like Informatica, enterprise reporting tools like Tableau, Business objects.
These people are also capable on working on Hadoop platforms.
What you’ll bring:
Very skilled in Python and DataStage coding and development
Very skilled in performing Python/Data Stage Code reviews
Very skilled in Data Modeling with both Oracle and SQL Databases
Cloud experience (AWS/GCP) is required.
Data architecture experience is a plus.

Working with Mainstreet America (MSA)
Guidewire platform, Guidewire is helpful but not required
IBM Mainframe
Data Modeling is nice have but not required
Remote work is permitted with 8 hours workday (excl breaks), No Overtime hours
Very strong in the following areas DW methodologies, Data Marts, Cloud experience (preferably GCP), Data Ingestion via multiple API methods, Python, DataStage, Linux
Nice to have Guidewire, Autosys, developing Architecture and Dataflow diagrams
Self-motivated, thorough with quality work they do, work with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and communication skills, effective communication is essential as team dynamics change quickly
No customer service skills are needed but will interact with internal business partners
