This position is full-time, direct hire and based onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI.

What You'll Do:

The Engineering Standards Manager will work closely within the Engineering and Purchasing teams to build an internal Parts Catalog from scratch, turning those ideas into reality.

You'll be able to apply your manufacturing design engineering experience with your internal parts catalog expertise to help create a new solution and streamline internal parts and processes as part of world-renowned products. The goal of this role is to increase the efficiency of developing high quality, cost effective products within an accelerated timeframe.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and maintaining engineering parts standards for both the United States and Globally.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product Development, Purchasing and other teams to create, as well as update, a full and accurate parts catalog.
    • This will include minimizing and fully standardizing all parts used and will include working with purchasing to ensure costs and supplier availability/quality/reliability are considered.
  • In conjunction with outside consultants, develop an onsite/intranet/cloud-based catalog.
    • Catalog anticipated to be initially focused on parts, but will ultimately include test and validation documentation, standard test procedures, and engineering drawing requirements.
  • Evaluate continued new requests parts and standards, and the granting and creation of new standards.
  • Provide demonstrated knowledge and application of best practices for new product development and engineering management.
  • Communicate and partner effectively on both a technical and non-technical level with executives, members of other departments, suppliers and others.

What You'll Bring:

  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or similar degree, with a Master's Degree ideal.
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience within an Engineering Standards / Internal Parts Catalog role, preferably with supervisory or management experience.
    • Experience in Project Management, Team Building and Employee Development is required, ideally within a construction or heavy equipment field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
  • High level of self-initiative and creativity, with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, as well as a flexible demeanor with a strong orientation towards teamwork.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
    • Passport is required.
