Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst
Location: Remote (High-speed, non-satellite internet required)

Summary
Carex is partnering with a Health Insurance industry partner to find an Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst who will help protect sensitive data and strengthen digital security protocols across the organization. In this role, you will design and manage identity and access solutions, support secure authentication processes, and analyze access requests within business systems and applications. This is a critical opportunity for a cybersecurity-focused professional who thrives in problem-solving and collaborative environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions that ensure secure authentication and authorization.

  • Provision and de-provision access to applications, infrastructure, and operating systems in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Maintain and optimize IAM tools such as Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Active Directory, and similar platforms.

  • Create and enforce user access policies and role-based access controls (RBAC).

  • Automate access processes to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Monitor and analyze access logs, investigate anomalies, and respond to potential security incidents.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate IAM solutions into cloud environments using tools such as Azure AD, Entra ID, or GCP.

  • Stay informed on cybersecurity trends and contribute to enhancing IAM strategies.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in user provisioning and de-provisioning, OR
    Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience, OR
    High School equivalency with 8+ years of experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on Identity & Access Management experience.

  • General understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and service request systems.

  • Familiarity with security protocols and standards including SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and SCIM.

  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or SQL.

  • Knowledge of integrating IAM in cloud platforms and environments.

  • Strong communication, organization, customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
