Implementation Specialist

Our partner in Madison, WI is seeking a Customer Care Implementation Specialist.  Customer interactions occur by phone, by email, and by on-site visits. 

Implementation Specialists create site-specific documents and create reference documents and movies for our partner's website.  Implementation Specialists work closely with the Project Management Team, the Field Service Engineering Team, and the Software Engineering Team. This role is on-site and has some travel, candidates must be in Madison, WI area or able to relocate.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with the Implementation Team and independently
    • To learn new software and its best practice rollout to customers
    • To implement existing software better.
  • Develop reference materials on current and new software.
  • Apply Adult Learning theory to educate customers on programming features associated with and on the operational use of software upgrades and new installations.
  • Interpret contracts.
  • Document project training sessions.
  • Provide the Project Management Team with project updates and concerns, completing project steps in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot software bugs with the Field Service Engineering Team and Software Engineering Team.
  • Upgrade software and perform limited technical assistance when no on-site AMTELCO technician is available.
  • Advocate for streamlined programming enhancements and future software development.
  • Attend weekly implementation and software meetings.
  • Become an expert in specific areas of software.
  • Present at conferences in Madison and perhaps other locations nationally.


  • Associate’s degree required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in answering service or hospital environments preferred.
  • Solid Excel, Access and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Familiarity with Camtasia preferred.
  • Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Reliable with a professional attitude and good communication skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout North America up to 33% time required.
