Do you enjoy solving difficult problems and creating efficiency using technology?  If this sounds exciting then this opportunity is for you!  Our partner is looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, who is self-driven and loves learning new technologies and languages. 

You have some side projects that you built to learn a new stack, and would like to show them to us and you  enjoy working with UI technologies. You have a sense of humor, and don’t take yourself or your viewpoints too seriously, you approach your work with pride and humility. You like being part of a small team and welcome opportunities to share and learn from each other.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering work experience
• Strong experience in front-end technologies specifically React, Typescript and JavaScript  (ES5 – ES6).
• Redux state container.
• JavaScript design patterns such as Observer, Module, Prototype, Factory, among others.
• Webpack, packages bundling, modular coding approach.
• Strong knowledge of UX frameworks such as Material UI, Bootstrap and HTML5, SCSS and CSS in general
• Knowledge or previous experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Have the skill and patience to convert a static design into semantic HTML and CSS that meets responsive and cross-browser requirements.
• Exposure to using source control systems and workflows in a small team environment – preferably with Git.
• Creating unit tests to ensure quality in our UI components
• Familiarity with different software development methodologies especially Agile ( Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-have:

• Healthcare integration experience (FHIR, HL7)
• Understanding of front-end cloud services (e.g., CloudFront, Lambda, S3)
