This position is full-time, direct hire and based onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI.
What You'll Do:
The Senior Quality Engineer will be a key force in leading the quality control systems that impact over 12,000 sales and service partners and over 140 sales and service stations across the globe. The Senior Quality Engineer will develop and manage the Quality Control Systems, as well as the analysis of testing and inspection procedures for the company. Key responsibilities of the role include:
Supplier Quality
Review and analyze quality notifications.
Review supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and capability study information.
Administrative
Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for all products and runtime improvements.
Set up the Quality requirements in the system for inspection.
New Product Introduction
Coordinate the QA section of the Product Realization Process.
Analyze new and revised part introductions using statistical analysis.
Evaluate the conformity of the product to the documented process.
Report item status and collaborate with core teams to facilitate issue resolution.
Problem-Solving & Quality Improvement
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to improve Plant Quality.
Evaluate and recommend quality concepts of probability, statistics and data analysis (SPC, DOE and Process Capability studies) to drive decisions.
ISO Compliance
Perform internal audits to ensure compliance to ISO requirements and company goals.
Identify and implement appropriate preventative and corrective actions, along with root cause analysis and effectiveness reviews.
Training
Train all levels of personnel on new quality concepts.
Work with other departments to select and define appropriate quality methodologies.
What You'll Bring:
BS in an applicable Engineering degree required.
3+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
Proven problem-solving skills, including the use of statistical analysis.
ISO and internal audit experience.
CQE Certification is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 5% to company or supplier locations.
