Carex is partnering with a global manufacturing partner to find a Senior Reliability Engineer to join their team onsite in Oshkosh, WI. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a local candidate with strong data analytics capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience in evaluating failure data to drive engineering improvements.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze engineering designs for aftermarket supportability, focusing on maintainability and lifecycle planning.

  • Lead and contribute to Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).

  • Communicate directly with customers to understand and execute R&M requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Test & Development, Design Engineering, and subcontractors.

  • Provide technical assistance throughout design, prototype, and production phases.

  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) strategies.

  • Support the development of technical manuals and product support documentation.

  • Prepare and present technical reports to leadership and customer stakeholders.

  • Continuously research and apply emerging technologies to improve vehicle logistics planning.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related STEM field).

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing.

  • Strong data analytics and mathematical skills for interpreting and applying failure data.

  • Experience with reliability and maintainability engineering principles.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with customer-facing experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with CAD modeling software.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

Preferred but not required:

  • Background in manufacturing or automotive environments.

  • Advanced technical writing and statistics knowledge.

  • Familiarity with PTC tools including Windchill, Creo, and Windchill Quality Solutions.

  • Exposure to programming tools (e.g., Arbor Text, VBA) and hands-on equipment repair or assembly experience.
