One of Carex's partners is seeking a fully-remote UX/UI Designer for a fully-remote 3 month contract.

What you’ll do:

Our partner is building a new, state-of-the-art, consumer facing mobile application.

They are looking for somebody to join their small team of <10 people to take charge of the creation of the user workflow, screens, and end-to-end consumer facing application. This person should have experience developing UX and UI designs and screens for medium to large scale native and/or web mobile applications.

  • You’ll be working hands-on, prototyping screens, building clickable and working prototypes in Figma (or other software), and creating design options for teams to review.
  • You’ll work closely with a graphic designer to form the flow of the app.
  • Your designs and workflows will be passed to the development team, and you’ll work closely with them to make sure they are implemented correctly.

Other responsibilities

  • Consults with business teams to understand the goals, constraints, and product success metrics.
  • Communicates ideas through the creation of sketches, wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mood boards, comps/mock-ups, etc. Utilizes a passion for highly-usable designs and a deep understanding of the customer to inform solution design.
  • Contributes to a Web/Mobile style guide and standards.
  • Stays informed of emerging trends and technology to anticipate and advise on consumer preferences and behavior shifts.
  • Shares knowledge with others on user-centered design principles, user experience and usability guidelines.
  • Thoroughly understands the brand identity and guidelines ensuring potential designs align with overall brand vision.
