UX/UI Strategist

Our partner is looking for a UX Strategist with expert capabilities in interaction design. They will help create and improve B2B and consumer applications for both web and mobile experiences. This position provides a tremendous opportunity to take digital products and platforms from incubation into production with the ability to influence the user experience and strategy along the way.


The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong independent problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking coupled with an aptitude and affinity for team collaboration and open communication. This individual is both highly analytical as well as highly creative, and consistently demonstrates superb design, writing and presentation skills. This individual fosters collaboration both inside and outside the team, evangelizes and promotes UX within the company, and can juggle several high-level projects while delivering A-level work on all of them. This individual is confidently able to justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies.


Collaboration is key, so you’ll also be working closely with our Account/Project Management, Analytics, Marketing, and Development teams to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule to make the digital magic happen.


This is a remote role with team headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.


What You'll Do: 

  • Own the end-to-end content strategy process from research to ideation to execution across multiple projects
  • Develop a content and information architecture across multiple channels
  • Establish and evangelize content standards and guidelines
  • Design usable, accessible, and engaging user experiences for mobile and web based on research, data analytics and best practices
  • Create working prototypes or mockups for demonstration or sales purposes
  • Work with Creative, UX, and Project Management teams to design and help develop digital solutions
  • Guide the creation and implementation of user-centric content that holistically align with business goals and user needs
  • Participate in defining and driving strategic direction from a user experience perspective
  • Present design concepts to Senior Leadership and external clients and partners

What You'll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, communications, design, or general business or equivalent education
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ year agency experience in the same or similar role
  • Experience building mobile experiences from concept to production
  • Experience writing and revising content for the user interface
  • Experience working in Content Management Systems
  • Experience with the UX lexicon and working in the UX design process
  • Ability to prototype rapidly, be it with paper, hand-coded HTML/JavaScript, Sketch, Axure, AfterEffects, or Figma
  • Ability to work directly with engineers when needed
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment – will always follow up and follow through
  • A portfolio that demonstrates the use of creative and novel UX solutions to solve complex problems
