Carex is partnering with a Biotech industry partner to hire an Application Technical Lead responsible for the technical administration, support, security, and performance of SAP systems and related environments. This role will provide hands-on technical leadership across SAP S/4HANA, SAP cloud solutions, identity and access services, integrations, and system monitoring. The Application Technical Lead will help ensure critical business systems remain secure, available, compliant, and optimized while resolving complex SAP Basis and security issues.
What You’ll Do

Provide technical administration and support for SAP systems and related environments, including SAP S/4HANA.

Manage SAP transports, system copies and refreshes, interfaces, and certificates.

Support SAP cloud technologies, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), subaccounts, directories, entitlements, quotas, and Fiori.

Provide technical support within cloud-hosted SAP environments, including SAP RISE where applicable.

Support identity and access management capabilities, including SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Cloud Identity Services (CIS), and single sign-on integrations.

Manage and troubleshoot single sign-on integrations involving SAP, Microsoft Entra, and SAP SaaS solutions.

Apply knowledge of SAP security architecture and implementation methods to maintain appropriate application security.

Diagnose and resolve complex SAP Basis and security issues.

Monitor and optimize SAP services to maintain system availability, performance, reliability, and security.

Support technical controls and processes within a SOX-compliant environment.

Utilize continuous monitoring and system management capabilities such as SAP Solution Manager Configuration Validation, System Recommendations, and SAP Cloud ALM.

Partner with technical and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and maintain critical business systems.
What You’ll Bring
-
3+ years of administration and support experience with SAP S/4HANA 2020 or higher in a hyperscaler environment.

2+ years of experience with SAP IAS/CIS and single sign-on involving SAP, Microsoft Entra, and SAP SaaS solutions.

Strong experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and related technical environments.

Knowledge of SAP Basis administration, including transport management, system copies and refreshes, interface management, and certificate management.

Understanding of SAP security architecture and security implementation methods.

Experience with SAP cloud solutions, including BTP, subaccounts, directories, entitlements, quotas, and Fiori.

Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment.

Familiarity with continuous monitoring tools, including SAP Solution Manager Configuration Validation and System Recommendations or SAP Cloud ALM.

Ability to troubleshoot Basis and security issues while optimizing system availability, performance, and application security.

Experience working in an SAP RISE environment is a plus.

Experience with SAP Cloud ALM is a plus.
