Carex is working with a manufacturing partner to hire a Contract Recruiter to support rapid organizational growth across multiple manufacturing locations. This remote contract role will focus on full-cycle recruiting for salaried positions, with an emphasis on proactive sourcing for hard-to-fill roles. The recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers across Wisconsin, Texas, and Ohio, helping scale a growing organization by identifying and attracting top talent. This is an initial 90-day contract, with the potential to convert if in Ohio.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a workload of approximately 10 salaried requisitions at a time, prioritizing proactive sourcing over applicant-driven recruiting.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting from job posting through offer acceptance before transitioning candidates to a coordinator for onboarding.
- Recruit for manufacturing-related salaried positions, including roles such as Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Managers, Supply Chain Managers, and other professional-level positions.
- Build strong talent pipelines using sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter Lite, Indeed, and applicant tracking systems.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, provide recruiting updates, and maintain effective communication throughout the hiring process.
- Support hiring efforts across facilities in Wisconsin, Texas, and Ohio, with significant focus on supporting growth at the Ohio location.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Collaborate effectively with the recruiting team and recruiting coordinator to ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Maintain flexibility to support hiring activities across both Central and Eastern time zones during core business hours.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience recruiting for salaried positions using proactive sourcing strategies.
- Full-cycle recruiting experience from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
- Experience recruiting within manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or similar industrial environments preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems; familiarity with UKG or Ultipro is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort learning new recruiting technologies and working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a rapidly growing organization.
- Availability to support business operations across Central and Eastern time zones.
