• Location: New York City, New York
  • Remote: Hybrid
  • Type: Direct Hire
  • Job #6350

Carex is partnering with a rapidly growing AI-native behavioral health technology company to hire an Enterprise Deployment Strategist in New York City. This is a high-ownership, customer-facing role sitting at the intersection of product, operations, technology, and healthcare delivery. You’ll own complex enterprise deployments from signed contract through go-live, working directly with customer leadership and frontline teams while coordinating internal clinical, revenue cycle, product, and engineering resources.

This is not a traditional project management or account management role. We’re looking for a builder and problem solver who can walk into a complex customer environment, quickly understand how the organization actually operates, identify what needs to change, and drive the people, product, and decisions required to make the deployment successful. You’ll spend time onsite with customers, get into the details of their workflows, translate what you learn into product requirements and scalable solutions, and help build the deployment playbook as the company grows.

This role is hybrid in New York City, with regular in-person collaboration and periodic travel to customer sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Own complex enterprise deployments from contract signature through go-live, stabilization, and adoption
  • Embed with customers to understand how their organizations actually operate, from intake and clinical workflows to billing and revenue cycle
  • Lead cross-functional deployment pods consisting of clinical, revenue cycle, product, and engineering stakeholders
  • Build and drive the deployment plan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, training strategy, integrations, data migration, and go-live readiness
  • Translate observations and customer needs into scalable product solutions, including prototypes, product requirements, and workflow designs
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to turn deployment learnings into features and functionality
  • Make critical decisions around workflows, integrations, migration strategy, billing processes, and other requirements that determine deployment success
  • Evaluate customer requests and distinguish between true product needs and one-off customization that does not scale
  • Identify risks early, drive decisions across competing stakeholders, and escalate thoughtfully when needed
  • Develop clear, metrics-driven deployment scorecards and communicate progress to stakeholders ranging from frontline users to executive leadership
  • Build reusable playbooks, templates, processes, and automation that make future deployments faster and more scalable

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–7 years of experience in management consulting, forward-deployed or deployment roles, strategy and operations, investment banking, or similarly rigorous client-facing environments
  • Track record of owning complex workstreams or client engagements from ambiguous problem through execution
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar businesses, workflows, and systems
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders who do not report directly to you
  • Exceptional organization and comfort managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong executive presence combined with a willingness to work directly with frontline users and dig into operational details
  • Ability to turn messy customer problems into clear requirements, decisions, and actionable plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into a clear story
  • High degree of judgment, ownership, curiosity, and comfort operating in environments where the answer may not already exist
  • Genuine interest in spending significant time with customers and understanding how they work

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, EHR, revenue cycle, or other healthcare operations environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows, integrations, claims, billing, or payer processes
  • Experience in a forward-deployed, solutions, implementation strategy, or technical customer-facing role
  • Experience helping build a new function, product, or company in a 0-to-1 environment
  • Strong familiarity with AI tools and an interest in applying AI to solve complex operational problems

Who Thrives Here

You’ll likely enjoy this role if you are someone who:

  • Likes solving ambiguous problems more than following an established playbook
  • Wants to understand how things actually work rather than relying solely on process documentation
  • Can move comfortably between an executive conversation, an operational workflow session, and a working session with Engineering
  • Naturally spots risks, edge cases, and failure points before they become larger problems
  • Wants significant ownership early in your career and is comfortable being accountable for outcomes
  • Is highly organized, intellectually curious, low-ego, and willing to do whatever the situation requires to get a customer successfully live
