Carex is partnering with a Pharmaceutical industry partner to identify a strategic and experienced Manager, Order-to-Cash (O2C) to help establish, lead, and scale a global O2C function in support of an initial commercial product launch and future growth initiatives. This role will support the strategy, governance, and execution of end-to-end commercial revenue cycle processes while ensuring operational excellence, scalable infrastructure, strong internal controls, and exceptional customer service.
As a key member of the Finance organization, this individual will optimize O2C operations, develop cross-functional operating models, and collaborate closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Market Access, Legal, Accounting, and external trading partners. The ideal candidate brings expertise in life sciences commercialization, commercial product launches, and finance transformation, with a proven ability to implement processes, systems, and controls that support business growth and regulatory compliance.
Must be based in the Madison, WI area or open to relocation.
What You'll Do

Support the development and execution of a global O2C strategy, operating model, and roadmap to enable commercial product distribution and long-term business growth.

Build, enhance, and scale O2C processes and controls to support global expansion, new product launches, and increasing transaction complexity.

Own and maintain O2C policies, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Partner with Commercial, Market Access, and Finance leadership to establish and optimize customer onboarding, contracting, pricing administration, and customer service processes.

Ensure commercial agreements, customer terms, rebate programs, and related activities are accurately operationalized and executed in accordance with established policies and compliance requirements.

Lead the implementation, optimization, and governance of O2C capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related commercial systems.

Identify and execute process automation and transformation initiatives leveraging Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), workflow automation, system integrations, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen end-to-end revenue cycle processes, improve operational visibility, and support scalable commercial operations.

Partner with Internal Audit and External Audit teams to maintain effective internal controls and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance across O2C activities.

Drive process standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to support evolving business needs and commercial growth.
What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Order-to-Cash, Revenue Operations, Finance Operations, Shared Services, or a related function.

Experience building, optimizing, and scaling O2C functions within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other highly regulated industries.

Strong understanding of end-to-end commercial revenue cycle processes, internal controls, and SOX compliance requirements.

Significant experience with ERP implementations, system optimization, or finance transformation initiatives, preferably involving Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Demonstrated ability to develop scalable processes, improve operational efficiency, and support complex commercial business requirements.

Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and execute multiple projects within established timelines.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organizational levels.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

MBA or relevant professional certification preferred.

Experience with pharmaceutical chargebacks, rebates, distributor fee-for-service arrangements, and market access programs preferred.
