Summary

Carex is partnering with a consumer packaging industry partner to hire a Business Analyst who will support a variety of business, technology, and process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This role will use strong organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills to help design, document, coordinate, and implement projects that improve department efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Business Analyst will work across multiple functional areas, collaborating with developers, subject matter experts, business stakeholders, third parties, and vendors. This position will help translate business needs into actionable plans, coordinate project activities, improve processes, establish and maintain standard operating procedures, and ensure stakeholders remain informed throughout the lifecycle of key initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development, execution, and implementation of multiple business and technology initiatives that vary in size and scope.
  • Coordinate project activities through effective planning, resource coordination, risk identification, change management, issue resolution, and communication.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business needs, processes, requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help translate business requirements and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable plans for technical and functional teams.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate project status information to departments and key business leaders.
  • Take ownership of assigned initiatives and drive issues toward resolution while maintaining positive relationships with involved teams.
  • Collaborate across functional areas, including developers, subject matter experts, and key business stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel, internal and external customers, third parties, and vendors.
  • Support process improvement efforts and help establish and maintain standard operating procedures that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow applicable safety procedures and support a strong food safety culture by adhering to required food safety and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized and process-focused approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to evaluate multiple variables and determine an effective course of action.
  • Ability to develop technical expertise across multiple systems.
  • Ability to gather, receive, and analyze information and translate findings into actionable business requirements and work plans.
  • Ability to prepare clear written materials and effectively articulate goals, requirements, and action plans.
  • Ability to influence decisions and coordinate activities across the value stream.
  • Prior leadership experience is a plus.
