Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
Summary
Carex is partnering with a BioTech industry partner to hire a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Madison, WI. This role will support clinical laboratory, operations, and manufacturing functions while owning full-cycle recruiting activities from sourcing through offer acceptance.
The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs, develop targeted sourcing strategies, build diverse candidate pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience. The ideal candidate brings experience recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can balance strategic talent acquisition with hands-on execution.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate assessment, offer development, and offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring leaders to define roles, responsibilities, qualifications, and talent requirements.
- Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies designed to attract qualified and diverse talent.
- Source candidates through digital platforms, social networks, community partnerships, recruitment events, and other channels.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for entry-level through mid-level positions.
- Evaluate candidates against role requirements and organizational needs.
- Coordinate and manage interview processes, partnering with hiring teams to ensure timely assessments and decisions.
- Develop and present competitive offers while supporting offer negotiations.
- Maintain strong relationships with hiring leaders, HR Business Partners, candidates, and other stakeholders.
- Provide consistent communication and updates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and recruiting information within the applicant tracking system.
- Analyze recruiting and HR data to identify trends, inform sourcing strategies, and improve recruiting outcomes.
- Develop innovative sourcing and candidate engagement approaches to expand diverse talent pools.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting partners when specialized support is required.
- Represent the organization at recruiting events and community engagement activities.
- Support recruitment initiatives and projects that improve processes, candidate experience, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ensure recruiting activities align with applicable company policies, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively across the organization and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 2+ years of agency or in-house talent acquisition experience.
- Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience supporting entry-level through mid-level positions.
- Proven ability to build significant candidate pipelines in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
- Experience developing targeted job postings and leveraging social and digital networks to identify and engage qualified candidates.
- Strong candidate assessment and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-service orientation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring leaders, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to leverage recruiting technology and data to inform decisions.
- Experience analyzing recruiting data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Healthcare or adjacent industry recruiting experience preferred, particularly across commercial, manufacturing, scientific, or corporate functions.
- Experience supporting clinical laboratory, operations, or manufacturing recruiting is preferred.
