Carex is partnering with a manufacturing industry partner to find an SAP Operations Specialist to support manufacturing and operational excellence across multiple business functions in the Neenah and Appleton, Wisconsin area.
This role serves as a key SAP resource for daily business operations, supporting production, planning, inventory, customer service, and operations teams through accurate transaction processing, production order management, and system support. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP experience within a manufacturing environment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure efficient and accurate business processes.

What You’ll Do
- Process orders and business transactions within SAP to support daily operations.
- Create, release, update, and maintain SAP production orders.
- Support SAP-related activities across manufacturing, operations, production planning, inventory, supply chain, and customer service functions.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data maintained within SAP.
- Assist end users with SAP transaction processing and system-related questions.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve routine SAP data and transaction issues.
- Generate reports and provide operational data to support business decision-making.
- Support inventory management, order management, and production scheduling activities.
- Assist with documentation, user testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and business processes.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a mechanical shop, paper mill, fabrication shop, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience using SAP within manufacturing, operations, supply chain, production planning, inventory management, or customer service environments.
- Hands-on experience processing orders, transactions, and production-related activities within SAP.
- Experience creating and maintaining SAP production orders.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Strong communication, customer support, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience serving as an SAP Key User, SAP Coordinator, SAP Power User, or similar role preferred.
- Experience with SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), or related SAP modules preferred.
- Prior experience supporting manufacturing operations, production planning, inventory, or supply chain activities preferred.
Compensation Range for this role: $25-35 per hour
