Carex is partnering with an innovative healthtech industry partner to identify a Senior Account Executive – Precision Care, Ambulatory. This role is ideal for a highly accomplished healthcare sales executive with deep experience in the ambulatory care market and an established network of relationships across physician groups, ambulatory practices, clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations, and health system outpatient leadership. The Senior Account Executive will leverage this market expertise and industry connectivity to identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive adoption of innovative solutions that improve care delivery, patient engagement, and outcomes. Success in this role requires a strong track record of strategic selling, executive-level relationship development, and consistently exceeding revenue targets within the ambulatory healthcare space.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional revenue targets.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities within healthcare provider organizations.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on healthcare industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare executives, IT leaders, clinical stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, solution demonstrations, and executive-level discussions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through contract negotiation and close.
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and strategic account planning.
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to support lead generation initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and healthcare events.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline activity, monitor opportunities, forecast revenue, and maintain sales data accuracy.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with product, solutions engineering, customer success, and support teams to align client needs with available solutions.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to support continuous improvement of product offerings and sales strategies.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare sales experience with a focus on strategic selling and business development.
  • Deep experience selling into the ambulatory care market, including physician groups, medical practices, ambulatory networks, clinically integrated networks, ACOs, and outpatient care organizations.
  • Established network of ambulatory healthcare leaders and decision-makers with a demonstrated ability to open doors and create new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales quotas in competitive healthcare markets.
  • Experience selling technology, services, or solutions to hospitals, health systems, clinics, physician groups, or other healthcare providers.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, technology environments, reimbursement models, and regulatory considerations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-level executives and senior healthcare leaders.
  • Experience managing complex sales processes and multiple stakeholders across large organizations.
  • Strong prospecting, account planning, and opportunity management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering measurable value.
  • Strong business acumen, perseverance, and adaptability when navigating challenging situations.
  • Ability to influence others through data-driven insights, product knowledge, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Commitment to process discipline, operational excellence, repeatability, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to travel around 50%.

Compensation for this role has a base of $150k-$160k with OTE around $330k-$350k. If the range doesn’t align with your needs, please still apply!
