Carex is partnering with a Health Tech industry partner to find a detail-oriented and strategic Sourcing Advisor to support and manage sourcing process components across a variety of projects. This role will play a critical part in aligning procurement activities with business needs through strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and contracting support. The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience managing RFX processes within a structured sourcing environment.
This is a 4-month contract opportunity and is ideally targeting onsite presence in Madison 2-3 days/week.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support end-to-end sourcing processes, including requests for information (RFI), proposals (RFP), and quotations (RFQ), ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, identify sourcing needs, and define sourcing strategies.

  • Manage supplier identification, evaluation, and selection, ensuring due diligence and compliance with internal policies.

  • Facilitate supplier negotiations in collaboration with category managers and legal teams to secure optimal terms and conditions.

  • Provide support for contracting activities, including document review, redlining, and coordination with legal and procurement stakeholders.

  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships to support long-term business partnerships.

  • Track sourcing project milestones, maintain documentation, and communicate progress to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each engagement.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

  • Proven ability to manage RFX processes, negotiate with suppliers, and support contract execution.

  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices and sourcing methodologies.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities, with attention to detail and documentation.

  • Experience working within regulated environments or with legal/compliance teams is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
