Carex is partnering with a Health Tech industry partner to find a detail-oriented and strategic Sourcing Advisor to support and manage sourcing process components across a variety of projects. This role will play a critical part in aligning procurement activities with business needs through strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and contracting support. The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience managing RFX processes within a structured sourcing environment.
This is a 4-month contract opportunity and is ideally targeting onsite presence in Madison 2-3 days/week.
What You’ll Do

Lead and support end-to-end sourcing processes, including requests for information (RFI), proposals (RFP), and quotations (RFQ), ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, identify sourcing needs, and define sourcing strategies.

Manage supplier identification, evaluation, and selection, ensuring due diligence and compliance with internal policies.

Facilitate supplier negotiations in collaboration with category managers and legal teams to secure optimal terms and conditions.

Provide support for contracting activities, including document review, redlining, and coordination with legal and procurement stakeholders.

Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships to support long-term business partnerships.

Track sourcing project milestones, maintain documentation, and communicate progress to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each engagement.
What You’ll Bring

3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

Proven ability to manage RFX processes, negotiate with suppliers, and support contract execution.

Strong understanding of procurement best practices and sourcing methodologies.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

Strong analytical and project management capabilities, with attention to detail and documentation.

Experience working within regulated environments or with legal/compliance teams is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
