Carex is partnering with a well respected health system partner to hire an Epic Dorothy Billing Analyst to support home care and hospice billing workflows through Epic’s Resolute Billing module. This role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing Epic revenue cycle applications to ensure effective, compliant workflows that enhance operational efficiency and patient care across home health and hospice services. This hire must be based in MN or WI and ability to travel 20%.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Epic Resolute Billing modules specific to home care and hospice workflows.

  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders, IT personnel, and end users to analyze, develop, and deploy optimized billing system designs.

  • Ensure system workflows comply with regulatory standards and support efficient billing processes.

  • Provide expert application configuration and data manipulation across integrated EHR systems.

  • Facilitate meetings and manage workstreams related to the implementation and support of billing systems.

  • Translate business requirements into high-quality technical specifications.

  • Monitor system performance and support end users in issue resolution and workflow optimization.

  • Contribute to planning, estimating, and execution of project phases.

What You’ll Bring

  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification (Required)

  • Epic Home Health Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Hospice Revenue Cycle Certification (Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of experience in a healthcare setting or with an EHR vendor, including experience supporting EHR and integrated workflows

  • Proven experience with software tools used in application build and data manipulation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to assess and improve current system capabilities based on business needs

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management methodologies

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and billing system requirements

  • Leadership and facilitation skills to support cross-functional initiatives

Compensation

$110,000–$126,000 annually
