Carex is partnering with a global industrial technology partner to find an experienced API & Integrations Engineer to join their dynamic and collaborative technology team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting API management systems and event-driven integrations across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring critical operational stability and strategic project execution.
What You’ll Do:

Serve as an escalation point for advanced support and troubleshooting of the integrations ecosystem, including Boomi integrations, Azure and Boomi API management, and event/messaging systems.

Lead project workstreams related to API management and integrations.

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps principles and infrastructure-as-code automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Collaborate across infrastructure and development teams to drive integrations-related activities.

Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve the API and integrations landscape.

Guide and mentor junior engineers while translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Resolve API and integration issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.

Apply knowledge of messaging and authentication protocols (REST, SOAP, OAUTH).

Contribute to the development and advancement of the strategic API and integrations roadmap.

Ensure alignment with ITIL processes for ticket resolution and stakeholder communication.
What You’ll Bring:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in integrations, API management, or related IT areas.

Proven experience with Boomi integrations, Azure API Management, and event-driven architectures.

Proficiency in monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration, scripting, and DevOps automation.

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with experience mentoring others.

Ability to work across teams to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.

Certifications such as Boomi Runtime Administration, Advanced Integration Development, or Azure Developer Associate are a plus.
