Carex is partnering with a financial services industry partner to hire a Talent Acquisition Consultant to support ongoing recruiting efforts during a time of internal transition. This contract should last 3-6 months. This role will lead full-cycle exempt-level recruiting and provide consultative guidance to hiring managers, with a focus on high-quality candidate engagement and streamlined hiring processes.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and design tailored recruitment strategies
- Recruit for professional-level individual contributors and some manager-level positions across a range of functions
- Maintain a requisition load of 8–12 roles at a time
- Provide recruiting support across departments, with added value in IT/Web Development if applicable
- Serve as a consultative resource to managers, offering expertise beyond transactional recruiting
- Collaborate closely with HR and hiring teams to ensure a seamless candidate experience
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and onboarding support as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- 4–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in mid-to-large-sized organizations
- Proven experience recruiting for exempt-level roles, including professional and leadership positions
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to advise and influence hiring managers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with recruiting for IT/Web Development roles is a plus
- Experience in financial services or insurance is helpful but not required
- Ability to go onsite in Madison, WI, however hybrid and non-local candidates will be considered.
