Carex is partnering with a global industrial technology and specialty vehicle manufacturing partner to hire a Network Engineer located in McConnellsburg, PA. This onsite role will be responsible for service delivery support and project deliverables within a global infrastructure network environment. Acting as a subject matter expert in key networking technologies, the Network Engineer will identify gaps, lead improvement efforts, and operate independently to deliver solutions. The role offers the opportunity to work across the entire organization, gain hands-on experience, and grow into higher responsibilities over time.
What You’ll Do

Support Palo Alto technologies including Firewall, Panorama, Global Protect VPN, URL-Filtering, IoT Security, PRISMA, and related systems.

Support Cisco technologies including switching, routing (including SD-WAN), Cisco ISE for 802.1X and TACACS, DNA Center, Wireless, and ACI.

Provide medium to high complexity maintenance, Run-the-Business (RTB) support, and Incident Service Requests for the assigned global infrastructure area.

Deliver solutions for RTB and project efforts of medium to high complexity.

Serve as a project resource on application and infrastructure projects, representing networking capabilities.

Gather requirements, develop recommendations, and implement solutions to meet project objectives.

Share knowledge by creating complex documentation, mentoring team members, and participating in cross-functional relationship building.
What You’ll Bring
-
Three or more years of Information Technology experience or related field expertise.

Proficiency with services such as DNS and DHCP, and experience with Cisco technologies including wireless routing, Cisco ISE, and DNA Center.

Ability to travel up to approximately 15%.

Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment and within a team.

Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio.

Preferred: Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or cloud certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE), ITIL Foundation Certification, Network+ Certification, experience in manufacturing industry networks, and enterprise-level network management expertise.
