SAP Project Manager — Madison, WI (Hybrid)
Summary
Carex is partnering with a HealthTech industry partner to hire an SAP Project Manager to support key enterprise technology initiatives, including the ongoing optimization of a recent S/4HANA and Fiori rollout. This role will also play a critical part in IT components of upcoming digital operations projects. The SAP Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives — ensuring technical and operational success across complex system integrations.
What You’ll Do

Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver high-impact initiatives, including SAP integrations and digital operations rollouts.

Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.

Apply established project management best practices to manage project scope, requirements, issues, and risks.

Consult with sponsors and leadership to review project proposals, determine priorities, and establish governance frameworks.

Coordinate cross-team dependencies and ensure effective collaboration among business, technical, and SAP functional teams.

Troubleshoot project challenges, escalate critical risks, and proactively remove roadblocks to ensure continuous progress.

Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones, risks, and key outcomes.

Coach teams on project management methodologies, tools, and continuous improvement techniques such as process mapping and root cause analysis.

Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive alignment and accountability.

Maintain compliance with quality standards and documentation procedures.

Balance multiple projects and competing priorities within a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree; or high school diploma/general education degree (GED) with 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

5+ years of progressive, broad-based project management experience.

3+ years in a client-facing project management role.

Experience managing technology projects related to SAP systems and integrations; familiarity with S/4HANA and/or Fiori strongly preferred.

Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving results.

Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and lead cross-functional teams.

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
