Carex is partnering with a financial services partner to hire a Contract Project Manager located in Madison, WI. This hybrid role (onsite two days per week) is focused on leading cross-functional initiatives that support strategic and operational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience—preferably with Agile expertise—and a proactive mindset focused on process improvement, collaboration, and continuous learning. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is confident engaging stakeholders at all levels.
What You’ll Do

Lead cross-functional projects using Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies based on project needs

Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery

Facilitate Agile ceremonies and project meetings to maintain alignment and team momentum

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and desired outcomes

Monitor progress, provide status updates, and adjust plans as needed to meet deliverables

Oversee vendor relationships and manage third-party deliverables when applicable

Support change management planning and execution to ensure successful adoption

Identify and implement process improvements that enhance project execution and team performance
What You’ll Bring

4–5 years of experience in project management, including leading cross-functional teams

Strong preference for candidates with Agile project experience

Proven ability to manage complex initiatives in a hybrid work environment

Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills

A mindset focused on learning, adaptability, and driving improvement

Experience with change management or Epic Systems a plus

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master) preferred
