Carex is partnering with a financial services partner to hire a Contract Project Manager located in Madison, WI. This hybrid role (onsite two days per week) is focused on leading cross-functional initiatives that support strategic and operational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience—preferably with Agile expertise—and a proactive mindset focused on process improvement, collaboration, and continuous learning. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is confident engaging stakeholders at all levels.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead cross-functional projects using Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies based on project needs

  • Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and project meetings to maintain alignment and team momentum

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and desired outcomes

  • Monitor progress, provide status updates, and adjust plans as needed to meet deliverables

  • Oversee vendor relationships and manage third-party deliverables when applicable

  • Support change management planning and execution to ensure successful adoption

  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance project execution and team performance

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–5 years of experience in project management, including leading cross-functional teams

  • Strong preference for candidates with Agile project experience

  • Proven ability to manage complex initiatives in a hybrid work environment

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • A mindset focused on learning, adaptability, and driving improvement

  • Experience with change management or Epic Systems a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master) preferred
