Business Continuity Consultant
Location: Hybrid – 1 day/week or 4 days/mth in Madison, WI
Duration: 6 months+
Summary
Carex is partnering with a FinTech industry partner to find a Business Analyst to support the Risk Surveillance & Incident Management team on a contract basis. This person needs to be knowledgeable in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical business functions and dependencies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Crisis Management protocols
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and grade quality of BIAs, Business Continuity Plans, etc.
- Create, Coordinate, and execute resilience exercises and simulations (e.g., tabletop or scenario-based testing).
- Maintain and update resilience documentation, procedures, and tools.
- Other task and duties that will drive key resiliency efforts
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and resilience tools.
- Knowledge of business continuity and crisis management frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NYDSF).
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude
