Carex is excited to be partnering with an industry-leading organization to add a Senior HR Analyst in Madison, WI. This role will lead reporting, analytics, and technical support across a range of HR programs including compensation, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, performance, and core HR. The Senior HR Analyst will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, driving process optimization, and supporting system implementations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate across HR and business teams.

This is hybrid role in Madison, WI (2-3 days on-site/week).

What You’ll Do

  • Own the accuracy, analysis, and reporting of HR data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.

  • Lead the annual compensation planning analysis, including merit increases, bonuses, and market adjustments, ensuring alignment with budget and pay equity goals.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership and HR business partners.

  • Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and compensation trends.

  • Serve as a key contact for escalated data issues and process clarification.

  • Lead and support the implementation and optimization of HR system modules, including compensation, benefits, applicant tracking, performance, and payroll.

  • Document workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across the HR function.

  • Partner with HRBPs, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other teams to ensure efficient HR support and shared solutions.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.

  • Support compliance-related activities and ensure alignment with internal policies and applicable laws.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 8 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Strong knowledge of HR data, processes, and programs including compensation, benefits, payroll, onboarding, talent acquisition, and HR self-service.

  • Prior experience with HR systems is required; Workday experience preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.

  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate findings into clear, actionable reports.

  • High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to apply critical thinking.

  • Effective time management, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
