Carex is partnering with a food manufacturing partner to find an IT Plant Service Contractor (ITPS-Contractor) who will provide hands-on IT support across local and remote office and manufacturing environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining IT systems, ensuring reliable infrastructure for business operations, and supporting Global IT initiatives. The ITPS-Contractor will work closely with diverse Global IT teams and business units to deliver secure, high-performing, and highly available technology systems essential to plant operations.
What You’ll Do

Deliver tactical support for a variety of IT systems including end-user devices, servers, networking equipment, printers, and plant-connected lab technologies.

Provide diagnostics, repair, and installation of IT hardware and software following defined standard operating procedures.

Respond to and resolve end-user support requests, maintaining clear communication throughout the resolution process.

Track all support activities in the Service Management tool and ensure timely updates and issue resolution aligned with established SLAs.

Support the deployment of hardware, software, and IT processes as part of broader Global IT projects.

Perform lifecycle replacements and ensure documentation of all troubleshooting and support procedures.

Provide on-call 24×7 support coverage for assigned plant or regional operations as needed.

Participate actively in team and cross-functional meetings to align with IT strategies and goals.
What You’ll Bring

A minimum of three years’ experience in an IT support role within a manufacturing or mixed-use technical environment.

Demonstrated ability to support a wide range of hardware, software, and networked systems in a fast-paced setting.

Proficiency with incident tracking tools and a strong commitment to meeting service-level expectations.

Experience coordinating with multiple IT and business teams across global locations.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and follow-through skills.

Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and maintain high availability as needed.
