Carex is partnering with a Mental Health industry partner to find a skilled and experienced Benefits Specialist – ADA Administrator to work with a high-performing benefits team while also serving as the primary expert on ADA compliance and accommodations. This dual-role position is essential to ensuring organization’s adherence to disability laws and best practices.

Duration:  6 months
Location:  Remote
Pay rate:  $27-29/hr + Carex Benefits

What You’ll Do

  • Work with a team of benefits specialists, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service in administering employee benefits.
  • Act as a point person for benefits inquiries, guiding HR team members and employees with clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to resolve benefit-related issues and maintain efficient enrollment and processing systems.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and internal regulations, maintaining documentation for consistency and transparency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Managers regarding ADA compliance and disability-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of ADA cases, requests, and outcomes, collaborating closely with Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Align organizational policies with evolving disability laws and promote best practices in accommodation and inclusion.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Strong understanding of ADA compliance and accommodation processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors and cross-functional HR stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as ADA Coordinator or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) are a plus.
