Carex is partnering with a Healthcare/Insurance industry partner to find a Manager of Business Process Engineering to lead the design and implementation of future-state processes that currently do not exist. This role will drive large-scale operational transformation through continuous improvement methodologies and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in Lean Six Sigma, healthcare experience, and a hands-on approach to change implementation.
What You’ll Do

Lead the design and execution of future-state, end-to-end business processes aligned to strategic goals.

Partner with cross-functional leaders, process owners, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels to drive business transformation.

Own implementation readiness, including project management and organizational change management (OCM), ensuring process changes are adopted and sustained.

Serve as a key leader in one of seven Value Streams, in partnership with a Business Consultant, to evaluate, document, and manage continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide direct supervision and mentorship to Business Process Consultants as needed.

Facilitate Lean Six Sigma practices such as Value Stream Mapping, A3s, Kanban, FMEA, and Kaizen events.

Translate process improvement efforts into actionable programs, including platform migration initiatives.

Act as a bridge between business operations and technology teams to define and execute future-state systems and workflows.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

7+ years of progressive experience in Business Process Management, Business Analytics, Project Management, or Business Operations.

7+ years of Health Plan/Payer and/or Healthcare industry experience.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with 7+ years of application.

Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional teams through change and implementation.

Proficiency in process improvement tools and methodologies, including Kaizen, 5 Whys, and Value Stream Mapping.

Strong experience in project and program management, with a hands-on ability to execute and drive results.

Exposure to Agile methodologies and change management principles preferred.

Technical proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Visio, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred experience with Healthrules, Cosmos, or platform migrations.
