Carex is partnering with an Insurance industry partner to find a skilled AI Solutions Engineer to join their innovative team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI agents and intelligent workflows to enhance business processes. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring, with a strong passion for AI technologies. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence three days per week.
What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows to address business needs.

Collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver AI solutions.

Evaluate AI agent performance, validate outputs, and optimize for accuracy and efficiency.

Conduct code reviews, share expertise, and mentor IT associates.

Stay current on advancements in AI technologies and best practices.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI systems and workflows.

Provide technical support and training on AI tools and solutions.

Ensure solutions align with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience developing and deploying AI agents and solutions.

Expertise in intelligent document processing, data extraction, and workflow automation.

Proficiency with Azure cloud platform, Azure AI tools and services, and Microsoft Power Platform.

Strong skills in Python, SQL, and/or .NET.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strategic thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

2+ years of hands-on AI engineering experience preferred.

Experience in the P&C insurance industry a plus.

Lean Six Sigma training a plus.
