– AS in Medical Technology/ MLT or BS in Chemistry, Biology or similar
– 6+ Months of Clinical Lab experience preferred, but open to those without experience
– 2nd Shift: You choose! (8 or 10 hours, must end at 11:30pm, either every Saturday or every other Saturday)
– Compensation for this position is anticipated to be $21.00 – $31.00 per hour, dependent upon experience and certifications.
What You'll Do:
The Med Tech conducts qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses within a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory that includes:
- Work with a Clinical Technologist in performing accurate and efficient clinical lab testing, including resolving pendings, performing routine testing and calculations, and resolving assay issues.
- Ensure test result validity through appropriate QA and QC procedure, including performing experiments for evaluation of Calibrator and QC lots, compiling investigation data, and interpreting QC results.
- Work with reagents and materials as needed, including preparing and properly labelling reagent, QC and Calibrator material. Also perform parallel testing, linearity's, stability and other QC practices as needed to ensure the validity of material.
- Complete maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of lab instruments and equipment according to SOP requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- MLT or similar Clinical Laboratory degree, or a BS in Chemistry, Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, and able to meet CLIA and state requirements.
- At least 6+ Months of clinical laboratory experience preferred, but willing to train.
- High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.
The hourly compensation rate for this position is anticipated to be between $21.00 – $31.00 per hour dependent upon experience.

What You'll Do:
The Clinical Lab Technologist performs routine medical laboratory tests essential for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease and will include aspects such as:
- Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment.
- Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
- Analyze, gather and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives.
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
- May examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities.
- Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.
What You'll Bring:
- AS in Medical Technology or a BS degree in the Sciences
- At least 6+ months of Clinical Lab experience preferred, but not required
- MLT, MLS or MT or other ASCP / AMT certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
The hourly compensation for this position is anticipated to be approximately $25.00 per hour.
