Data Developer – Marketing Campaigns

Summary
Carex is partnering with a FinTech industry partner to find a highly skilled Data Developer – Marketing Campaigns to support the design, development, and optimization of marketing campaign data solutions. This role plays a critical part in developing, implementing, and maintaining processes that drive efficient, accurate, and data-driven campaign execution across both B2B and B2C marketing channels. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with relational databases, data-driven campaign management, and strong technical and analytical expertise to ensure campaigns meet strategic goals with precision and impact.
What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and execute marketing campaigns leveraging relational database technologies and campaign management platforms.

Partner cross-functionally with IT, Email, Strategy, Creative, Production, and B2B teams to ensure campaign accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.

Analyze and resolve data conflicts, ensuring alignment between campaign data and business strategy.

Recommend, design, and implement campaigns that maximize performance and efficiency while utilizing system capabilities to their fullest.

Establish, document, and optimize processes that ensure high-quality campaign output and consistent adherence to best practices.

Utilize SQL and campaign tools (e.g., Unica, Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to extract and manipulate data, build campaign logic, and validate execution results.

Apply rigorous testing and auditing methodologies to ensure campaign integrity and accuracy.

Develop detailed technical and business requirements to support campaign design and new marketing initiatives.

Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance marketing performance and operational efficiency.

Serve as a technical subject matter expert and mentor to other team members on campaign data and execution processes.

Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot data or workflow challenges, resolve issues, and validate campaign readiness.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related analytical field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

7+ years of experience in direct response or data-driven marketing, with a focus on campaign design, audience development, and analytics.

Strong hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL; proficiency with campaign management software (Unica strongly preferred).

Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud implementation and architecture; Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a strong plus.

Solid understanding of financial metrics, ideally within the financial or insurance industry.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in technical and strategic decision-making.
