Carex is partnering with a Manufacturing industry partner to hire a Data Engineer II who will design and maintain scalable data pipelines that power data-driven decision-making across the business. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges, enjoys collaboration, and is eager to contribute to high-impact projects that shape real-world operations. This is a direct hire role and is onsite in Green Bay, WI.
What You’ll Do

Design and implement efficient and reliable data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data sources.

Enhance performance and scalability of existing data workflows and architecture.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Apply data governance best practices and assist in managing metadata repositories.

Participate in code reviews and begin mentoring junior engineers on the team.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

2–4 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related discipline.

Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Experience working with ETL/ELT frameworks and cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with data modeling, metadata management, and governance frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to development.
