Carex is partnering with a Fintech industry partner to find a strategic and experienced Director of Implementation to lead the deployment and onboarding of a SaaS-based Digital Lending product. This role is ideal for a people-first leader with a strong background in Fintech and or banking/credit union system provider space who excels at guiding teams through complex implementations while fostering client trust, delivering measurable value, and scaling processes for long-term success. Hybrid in Madison, WI.
What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing implementation team responsible for delivering successful client onboarding and product deployments.

Oversee the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for a SaaS digital lending solution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to align implementation strategies with broader business goals.

Define and optimize implementation methodologies, tools, and playbooks to drive repeatable, scalable, and high-quality delivery.

Establish strong relationships with client stakeholders, serving as an executive point of contact during onboarding and guiding clients through a smooth go-live experience.

Manage risks, remove blockers, and proactively address client concerns to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.

Develop performance metrics and reporting dashboards to monitor implementation progress, resource allocation, and team effectiveness.

Stay informed on industry trends in digital lending and fintech to continuously improve service delivery and competitive differentiation.

Champion a customer-first mindset and a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the team.
What You’ll Bring

8+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, program delivery, or customer onboarding, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of leading large-scale software implementations in the fintech or digital lending space.

Strong background in customer success, project management, and process development.

Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor, empower, and scale high-performing teams.

Executive-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.

Familiarity with digital lending platforms, APIs, integration strategies, and compliance considerations.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities and evolving client needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
