Carex is partnering with a Manufacturing industry partner to find a skilled and experienced Enterprise IT Project Manager to lead business-critical technology and transformation initiatives. This role is instrumental in ensuring successful execution of IT and Business Transformation projects by fostering collaboration among internal teams and external stakeholders, while maintaining oversight of scope, schedule, budget, and risk. This individual will also directly manage IT Business Analysts assigned to their projects. This role is 3 days on-site in Madison, WI.
What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans aligned with scope, timeline, budget, and resource needs.

Collaborate with business sponsors and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals and consistent engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor and manage risks, issues, and dependencies while developing mitigation strategies to support on-time, quality project delivery.

Lead project teams through effective resource coordination to ensure productivity and success.

Track and manage project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to remain within established guidelines.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project success metrics to inform continuous improvement.

Deliver regular status updates and reporting to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and decision points.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by implementing project management best practices and process enhancements.

Support change management efforts and ensure new systems and processes are adopted and sustained.

Facilitate stakeholder input, build business cases, and incorporate business process elements into project planning.

Communicate effectively with internal and external teams, maintaining documentation such as decision logs and status reports.

Travel occasionally for stakeholder meetings and project requirements.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

4+ years of project management experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

2+ years of hands-on experience with ERP implementation projects.

Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Experience applying change management principles within large-scale initiatives.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Strategic and analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation.

Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
-
PMP certification is a plus.
