Carex is partnering with a Midwest health system partner to hire an Epic Application Analyst Pharm – Willow Inpatient. The Epic Application Analyst Pharm – Willow Inpatient is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the Epic Willow Inpatient and Willow Inventory applications. This role ensures patient care and safety by aligning system functionality with clinical workflows and regulatory requirements through close collaboration with operational leaders, pharmacists, vendors, and IT personnel. This hire must live in MN or WI.
What You’ll Do

Lead implementation and support efforts for the Epic Willow Inpatient and Willow Inventory applications.

Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical operations to understand workflows and deliver effective technical solutions.

Configure and maintain application build, ensuring alignment with clinical processes and standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, user access, and workflow integration.

Participate in system testing, change control, and documentation to maintain compliance and functionality.

Translate clinical and business requirements into high-level system specifications.

Train users and support go-live activities to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.

Lead meetings, manage sub-projects, and contribute to planning and estimating tasks.

Support data integrity, reporting, and regulatory requirements specific to inpatient pharmacy operations.
What You’ll Bring

Active pharmacist license (required).

Epic Certification in Willow Inpatient (required); Willow Inventory certification preferred.

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy or equivalent FPGEC certification.

At least 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience and 2 years of application development and support experience.

Experience in inpatient and/or retail pharmacy settings preferred; pediatric pharmacy experience a plus.

Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy workflows, healthcare software applications, and system integration.

Effective communication skills across all organizational levels and technical proficiencies.

Proficient with Microsoft Windows products and project management tools.

Aptitude for learning new applications and adapting to evolving clinical and technical environments.

Proven ability to lead initiatives, manage timelines, and support project execution.
