Carex is partnering with an Epic Consulting partner to hire a Charge Router Analyst for a health system.
We're seeking a highly experienced Charge Router Analyst with active Epic certifications to support a major system cleanup and optimization initiative. This is a fully remote, short-term contract role for a change-resistant environment requiring strong mentorship, clear communication, and patient guidance. What You’ll Do

Lead the assessment, clean-up, and reconfiguration of long-standing Charge Router rules with a focus on professional billing (PB) and hospital billing (HB) systems.

Serve as a subject matter expert for Charge Router with active Epic certifications, particularly in PB and/or HB.

Guide and mentor internal team members who are newly certified, providing expert-level support and strategic advice.

Educate stakeholders on Charge Router capabilities and drive informed decision-making in a change-resistant environment.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that updates are aligned with organizational workflows and compliance standards.

Work Central Time Zone hours in a fully remote capacity.
What You’ll Bring

Active Epic Charge Router certification and certification in either Resolute PB or HB (PB preferred).

Prior Epic employment experience.

Extensive experience with Charge Router in PB environments; HB experience highly valued.

Proven ability to mentor less-experienced analysts and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Strong communication and facilitation skills, especially in guiding teams through change.

Ability to manage cleanup in environments where original build decisions may not have been revisited since go-live.
