Carex is partnering with a consumer packaged goods industry partner to hire an Influencer and Creator Specialist who will support the development and execution of culturally relevant influencer and creator campaigns across social platforms. This role helps bring brand storytelling to life through authentic partnerships with creators, supporting campaigns that span product launches, community engagement initiatives, and social-first brand moments. The Influencer and Creator Specialist collaborates closely with influencer managers and social teams to identify talent, review content, analyze performance, and ensure campaigns align with brand strategy.

Hours: This is a part-time role with flexible working hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, averaging 20–25 hours per week based on workload and team needs.
Pay:  $35-38/hr
Location:  Candidates located in Chicago are preferred.
Duration:  3 months+

What You'll Do

  • Review influencer and creator lists to identify strong candidates for campaign partnerships.
  • Evaluate influencer content prior to posting to ensure alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Support influencer managers with end-to-end campaign execution including talent selection, brief development, concept review, and content approvals.
  • Assist with TikTok Shop initiatives by supporting and helping lead TikTok Shop affiliate campaigns.
  • Conduct influencer risk assessments and ensure processes are followed consistently across campaigns.
  • Collect campaign performance data and maintain reporting within tools such as Sprout Social.
  • Analyze social data and insights to recommend influencer talent, creative concepts, and emerging content themes.
  • Use social listening tools to conduct audits, track brand conversations, and monitor campaign performance.
  • Support paid media amplification efforts by ensuring influencer content aligns with best practices for social distribution.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of influencer marketing processes and playbooks.
  • Assist in analyzing campaign performance and measuring the effectiveness of influencer marketing efforts.
  • Conduct competitive research and cultural trend analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Participate in internal influencer and creator education initiatives and training programs.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in influencer marketing beyond internship experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube creator ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience managing or supporting TikTok Shop affiliate campaigns.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing workflows including talent sourcing, campaign management, and content review.
  • Experience working within brand marketing teams or marketing agencies; agency experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social and campaign performance data.
  • Experience using social media management or analytics platforms such as Sprout Social.
  • Ability to monitor social trends, evaluate creator fit, and identify culturally relevant opportunities.
  • Strong organization, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred but not required.
