Carex is partnering with a Manufacturing industry partner to find a IT Project Manager to support critical technology and business transformation projects. This role is essential to the successful delivery of initiatives through cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and effective oversight of scope, schedule, budget, and risk. The ideal candidate will play a key part in aligning project goals with business strategies and ensuring the sustainability of outcomes through change management and stakeholder engagement.
This role is hybrid/on-site three days/week in Madison, WI.
What You’ll Do

Develop and manage detailed project plans that align with defined scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.

Collaborate with project sponsors and key stakeholders to drive alignment with business strategies and secure engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify, assess, and escalate risks, while contributing to mitigation strategies that ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Facilitate collaboration across internal project teams and external contributors to optimize execution and efficiency.

Monitor and support project budgets and expenditures to maintain financial control and transparency.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and drive improvements.

Deliver consistent, structured reporting to leadership, including status updates, milestones, and decisions.

Lead or support the creation of business cases, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resourcing.

Contribute to organizational change management and integrate business process considerations to drive adoption and sustainability of outcomes.

Partner with Finance and business owners to communicate project costs and benefits clearly.

Maintain documentation including status reports and decision logs to ensure team alignment and accountability.

Participate in a culture of continuous improvement and promote project management best practices.

Occasional travel may be required to support project needs and stakeholder meetings.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

2+ years of project management experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Familiarity or experience with ERP implementation projects is a plus.

Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated experience in organizational change management.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels.

Strategic, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

PMP certification is a plus.
