Carex is partnering with a home health partner to hire a Quality Assurance & Business Analyst. This dual-role position will support the development and deployment of IT solutions by ensuring system quality while analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements. Operating in a dynamic and regulated environment, this individual will collaborate across teams to ensure all solutions align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and operational efficiencies.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for IT projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, prioritize, and implement technology solutions.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality.

  • Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with development teams.

  • Translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business needs for technical teams.

  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and test automation platforms for managing requirements and QA activities.

  • Support implementation efforts with user training and documentation.

  • Ensure regulatory, security, and interoperability standards are met through detailed validation.

  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes in clear, accessible language to stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate records to support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement.

  • Support change readiness efforts for new systems and enhancements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance.

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as software development lifecycle practices.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and test automation platforms.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

  • Preferred certifications include CBAP, ISTQB, or similar QA/business analysis credentials.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% within the U.S
