Summary
The IT Security Analyst will play a key role in protecting enterprise systems by monitoring, managing, and optimizing security tools to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment. This contract role will focus on operational security tasks, vulnerability management, and proactive incident response. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with a wide range of security platforms, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate across IT teams to strengthen security posture.
What You’ll Do

Monitor and manage enterprise security tools, including Cisco Secure Endpoint, Endpoint Privilege Manager, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Netskope, Proofpoint Endpoint & Email DLP, Cisco Vulnerability Management, Qualys, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, and Cisco Umbrella.

Perform daily security monitoring, analysis, and reporting activities.

Assist with vulnerability scanning, risk assessment, and remediation efforts.

Investigate security alerts and suspicious activity, escalating incidents when necessary.

Maintain accurate documentation of security processes, incidents, and configurations.

Collaborate with IT teams to align security configurations with best practices.

Support security awareness and compliance initiatives.
What You’ll Bring

3+ years of IT Security or Cybersecurity experience.

Hands-on expertise with enterprise security tools, including those listed above.

Strong knowledge of endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and data loss prevention strategies.

Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred: Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CySA+, or CEH.

Preferred: Experience working in enterprise or large-scale IT environments.
