Carex is partnering with a Consumer Products industry partner to find an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support and ensure operational excellence across hardware, software, and network systems. This role plays a vital part in managing end-user computing environments, offering both reactive troubleshooting and proactive system maintenance aligned with ITIL-based frameworks.
What You’ll Do

Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and specialized devices.

Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and connected devices.

Respond promptly to technical service issues and support requests.

Set up user accounts, systems, and equipment for onboarding and role transitions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, software, services, and applications.

Repair, replace, and decommission outdated or malfunctioning equipment.

Test and validate new technologies for implementation.

Document issues, resolutions, and share knowledge across teams.

Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed.

Travel up to 25% for onsite support activities.
What You’ll Bring

Associate degree in Computer Science or related field required; bachelor's preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT support experience.

At least one industry certification (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA).

Proficient in Microsoft applications, operating systems, and basic enterprise technologies.

Strong understanding of networking technologies, particularly Layer 1 and 2.

Familiarity with the ITIL framework and service management tools like ServiceNow.

Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Ability to assess, prioritize, and resolve support tasks in dynamic environments.
