We're looking for a passionate Clinical Med Tech to join the Indianapolis, IN team:
– 1st shift, Monday – Friday, from 8:00am – 4:30pm
– Some prior clinical lab experience ideal
What You'll Do:
The Associate Medical Technician performs routine medical laboratory tests essential for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease, and will include aspects such as:
- Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment.
- Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
- Analyze, gather and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives.
- Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
- May examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities.
- Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.
What You'll Bring:
- Associate Degree in Medical Technology or similar (MLT MT) OR BS in Chemistry, Biology or a related science field.
- Willingness to learn, or up to 2 years of medical lab experience; candidates should have some lab testing experience.
- Ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
- Basic knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
The hourly pay for this position is anticipated to be between $19.00 – $21.50 per hour and includes overtime potential.

What You'll Do:
The Sample Handling Assistant I works in a high volume environment and will include aspects such as:

- Scan and/or perform data entry of specimen and patient information.

We're looking for a passionate Associate Med Tech to join the Indianapolis, IN team:
– 1+ year of Clinical Lab experience is preferred, but open to those without experience
– 2nd shift rotating schedule:
– Week 1: Tuesday – Saturday from 3pm – 11:30pm (8 hours)
– Week 2: Tuesday – Friday from 1pm – 11:30pm (10 hours)
What You'll Do:
The Med Tech conducts qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses within a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory that includes:
- Work with a Clinical Technologist in performing accurate and efficient clinical lab testing.
- Resolve pendings, including documenting specimen discrepancies, prep the lab workstation and lab instrumentation, and resolve technical specimen issues in preparation for analysis and specimen storage.
- Perform routine testing and calculations as required.
- Resolve any routine and non-routine assay issues.
- Ensure test result validity through appropriate QA and QC procedures.
- Perform experiments for evaluation of new Calibrator and QC lots.
- Summarize results of investigations and compile data for review.
- Document QC results, interpret QC results according to Westgard and other established rules and procedures, as well as documenting biases, warnings and violations of control rules.
- Document corrective action for unusual occurrences, such as QC violations or instrument-related issues.
- Analyze proficiency testing survey samples as patient specimens.
- Work with reagents and materials as needed, including preparing and properly labelling reagent, QC and Calibrator material.
- Perform parallel testing, linearity's, stability and other QC practices as needed to ensure the validity of material.
- Maintain accurate Result Entry, including both auto-verification and manual entry.
- Prepare proper documentation of test results and generate appropriate audit trail of activities.
- Complete maintenance of lab instruments and equipment according to SOP requirements.
- Calibrate instruments, equipment and assays as required, and document procedures.
- Perform basic lab instrument and equipment troubleshooting.
- Perform pipette calibrations and document as appropriate.
What You'll Bring:
- BS in Chemistry, Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a related degree, and able to meet CLIA and state requirements.
- At least 1+ years of clinical laboratory experience preferred, but willing to train.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus.
- High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.
The hourly compensation rate for this position is anticipated to be between $20.00 – $30.00 per hour dependent upon experience.
