We're looking for a passionate entry-level Clinical Lab Technologist to join the largest health care diagnostic company in the world:
– Hours are 7:00am – 4:00pm
– Experience in a clinical lab or general lab, as well as immunology experience ideal, but not required
What You'll Do:
The Clinical Technologist conducts qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses within a SAMHSA-certified drug testing lab and CAP and CLIA-certified clinical laboratory that includes:
- Receive extracted specimens for testing; evaluate batches and test orders; determine priority of work for these batches in order to maintain acceptable turn around time
- This position requires large amounts of daily electronic data analysis, done on computer stations outside of the laboratory
- Adhere to SOP while performing data analysis on patient and proficiency samples as well as calibration, quality control and blank samples
- Evaluate raw and final data for accuracy; recognize and correct errors and unusual results; interpret results to produce a final report.
- Follow quality control rules; monitor controls / calibration for error detection within batch along with trends within QC sets of an assay and take appropriate corrective action as needed.
- Maintain, calibrate and clean instrumentation / work area; perform scheduled/routine maintenance and critical function checks; recognize significant changes in instrument function; troubleshoot as indicated.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all laboratory tests and equipment including, but not limited to, instrument logs, maintenance logs, disinfection logs and assay SOPs.
- Evaluate, use and/or prepare laboratory reagents, standards and quality controls according to established department standard operating procedures and established timeframes.
What You'll Bring:
- BS in Chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory, medical technology or related discipline.
- A willingness to learn and ideally 1 year of Clinical Lab Testing experience – willing to train if no Clinical Lab experience!
- Immunology experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet established turnaround times.
- Effective project management and time management skills.
Compensation for this position is anticipated to be $21.00 – $27.00 per hour.

The Claims Manager will oversee the daily operations and performance of the Claims Department. This position directs staff in achieving the departmental and company goals and ensures claims productivity goals are met.

What you’ll do:
- Will spend roughly 30% of day processing claims per contract or standard processing guidelines
- Maintains prompt turnaround time on all claims and handle priority claims within 24 hours
- Provides guidance to the Claims team and manages the day-to-day operational activities
- Utilizes analytical thinking skills, leadership ability, and business knowledge to help coordinate and lead a department of associates
- Leads large scale implementation of projects and processes to help solve complex organizational problems
- Effectively plans staff responsibilities and manage activities, utilizing staff resources to meet departmental goals in accordance with established business goals
- Schedules and directs work; addresses complaints and resolve problems; monitors monthly production
- Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance the contributions, competencies, and performance of associates
- Manages team daily attendance and overtime; coordinates time off requests and updates time sheets
- Analyzes and reports claims processing trends on schedule as defined
- Selects, develops, and manages staff to ensure appropriate staffing levels to ensure delivery of timely high-quality service form the claims department
- Processes and resolves service issues to ensure superior service to clients
- Continually work to improve policy and procedures, efficiency, and customer service for internal and external clients
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum five (5) years management experience in medical claims field
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Experience with managing quality metrics and monitor feedback
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- ICD 10 Certification.
- Progressive claims experience over 5 years.
- More than 5 years management experience.
- Project management experience.
- Medical, Medicaid and/or government health plan experience.
- Health insurance experience is preferred.
- Regulatory experience.
