Carex is partnering with a HealthTech industry partner to hire a Product Manager focused on driving the definition, development, and continuous improvement of customer-centric digital solutions. This role will collaborate across business, development, and design teams to execute product strategies aligned with both user needs and organizational goals. The Product Manager will contribute to initiatives of low to medium complexity, helping to define business requirements, user stories, and success metrics to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products.
This is a 6mo contract opportunity and is ideally based hybrid onsite in Madison, WI. Remote candidates may be considered.
What You’ll Do

Serve as the voice of the customer for a defined product area, ensuring alignment between stakeholder needs and development efforts.

Translate business and user needs into clear, actionable requirements and high-level documentation using structured analysis and cost-benefit assessments.

Define acceptance criteria for product features and ensure development teams clearly understand expectations.

Establish KPIs and use data-driven insights to measure product success and guide continuous improvement efforts.

Create and maintain detailed documentation including gap analyses, process flow charts, business requirement documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Partner with Quality Engineering to define test criteria, review test cases, and support quality assurance efforts.

Support post-launch performance monitoring and recommend product enhancements as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support—to ensure product initiatives are successfully executed.

Participate in agile ceremonies, review work completed by squads, and provide feedback as needed.

Contribute to product backlog grooming and prioritization to maintain alignment with overall product strategy and OKRs.

Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of product updates and changes.

Promote a culture of inclusion, integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field; or a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

4+ years of professional experience in product management or a closely related role.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies and familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments in a matrixed environment.

Demonstrated ability to document requirements, analyze data, and support iterative product development.

Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred:

Industry experience in life sciences, healthcare, wellness, or digital health.

Working knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Tableau), A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, AB Tasty), and design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
