Carex is partnering with a healthtech industry partner to find a results-driven and highly organized mid-level Project Manager for a 3-month remote contract. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives from inception through completion, ensuring successful delivery of projects aligned with strategic business goals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in communication, demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, and brings a continuous improvement mindset. Experience in healthcare IT or supply chain is highly preferred.
What You’ll Do

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality execution.

Serve as the primary liaison for project communication, delivering regular updates and dashboards to stakeholders and leadership.

Facilitate decision-making, align expectations across departments, and manage stakeholder engagement.

Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively resolve issues and roadblocks.

Escalate critical concerns while maintaining ownership of resolution.

Drive continuous improvement by refining workflows and documentation standards.

Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices.
What You’ll Bring

2–4+ years of project management experience in cross-functional or technical environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Strong proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Planner, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com).

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines.

Excellent facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent platforms.

Proven ability to self-manage, work independently, and operate effectively without constant supervision.
