Carex is partnering with an exciting, high-growth healthtech startup as they add a Regional Sales Director (West Coast), who will report to the VP of Sales. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base within your designated region. You will leverage your expertise in healthcare technology sales, particularly in EHR-integrated SaaS solutions, to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the successful adoption of our AI-driven enterprise precision care platform.
What You’ll Do:
- Sales Strategy and Execution to win “Net New Health System Logos”:
- We are looking only for aggressive hunters that prospect and bring in new health systems deals at a rapidly growing silicon-valley based private equity funded AI company
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional revenue goals.
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and sales opportunities within the region.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Sell recurring ARR SaaS model enterprise deals into the primary care or ambulatory market at large health systems
- Responsible to understand and develop strong sales pitch, sales ROI and value proposition that resonates with CMOs, CMIOs, and CFOs of large health systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including healthcare executives, IT leaders, and clinical staff.
- Conduct enterprise platform related presentations and sales related product demonstrations that align with the top priorities of physicians and IT leaders of health systems.
- Business Development to proactively fill the upstream sales pipeline:
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute lead generation campaigns and promotional activities.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to represent the company and build brand awareness.
- Sales Process Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and forecast revenue.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
- Given we are a rapidly growing innovative company, we value your field feedback. Provide feedback and insights from the field to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Must-have Experience (please do not apply if you do not have this experience):
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in healthcare technology sales, with a focus on EHR-integrated SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding “net new” sales targets selling products used by clinicians and purchased by CMOs/CMIOs and CFOs
- Experience selling multi-year enterprise level deals to large health system is a must-have
- Strong understanding of ambulatory or primary care segment and clinical workflows
- Skills and Knowledge (preferred, but not must-have):
- Experience working for a fast-paced high growth private company
- Ability to sell to CIOs of large IDNs
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
